New options for the R&S®DDF255 direction finder

May 14, 2010 - Rohde & Schwarz launches new options for the R&S®DDF255 direction finder that expand its functionality.

Three new options expand the functionality of the R&S®DDF255 direction finder. The R&S®DDF255-ADC multifunction board option increases the signal processing power and is a prerequisite for the other two new options.

The R&S®DDF255-DDC multichannel reception option converts the R&S®DDF255 direction finder into a multichannel receiver with a total of five demodulation channels which can be allocated to any frequencies within the realtime bandwidth.

Lastly, the R&S®DDF-WB option extends the realtime bandwidth of the R&S®DDF255 direction finder to 80 MHz. This permits the demodulation (I/Q) of signals up to this bandwidth, improves the detection of short duration signals, and increases the scanning speed to 300 GHz/s.

The R&S®DDF255-DDC option and the R&S®DDF-WB option can be used either individually or in parallel on an R&S®DDF255-ADC multifunction board.
